Walnut Creek Wedding
Candace and Chris wanted a rustic, ranch-style wedding in the East Bay. Luckily, there is no better place than Diablo Ranch in Walnut Creek. This Walnut Creek wedding was replete with homey touches coexisting with the wedding’s well-executed elegance and attention to detail. As for the venue itself, Diablo Ranch is obviously named for Mount Diablo. Elevation gives way to panoramic views of beauty in almost every direction. Like we’ve written about recently, rustic elegance is a trend in today’s weddings. Candace and Chris took this theme to the limit by choosing this working cattle ranch. Yes, it is a working ranch! In fact, weddings must begin after 1 p.m., as the morning is reserved for the needs of the animals and the property. That works for Diablo Ranch wedding photos, though, because the sunsets are spectacular.
Speaking of animals, there are many for the guests to enjoy, which is a great experience for children. This gives this wedding photographer a chance at some priceless candids with the little ones.
All in the Details
The preparation for this Walnut Creek wedding was amazing, and we had the pleasure to photograph every small detail. All this hard work led to a fabulous experience for the happy couple, wedding party, and guests alike. Plus, as you can see in the photos below, there were lots of gorgeous DIY details. Diablo Ranch weddings need a hands-on touch from the bride and groom, and this couple pulled that off perfectly. With twelve attendants, the details that surrounded each step of the preparation had to be a herculean effort.
The personal touches were everywhere. Candace rocked marvelous leather cowboy boots under her intricately lacey gown. The color choices for the dresses and tux accessories really popped against the greens and browns of the natural setting. Loads of details and sentimental gestures among this large party of close friends and family created wedding photos that are truly unique and memorable. Add Chris’s easy charm and Candace’s million-dollar smile, and we have photography made in heaven. Best wishes for a long and happy marriage!
