The venue provides versatile spaces for both ceremonies and receptions. The outdoor ceremony site, enveloped by lush greenery and elegant landscaping, offers a romantic setting for exchanging vows. For receptions, the venue transforms into an enchanting space where couples and their guests can celebrate under the stars, with the garden's ambiance enhancing and enchanting experience.

The Grounds

The gardens are meticulously maintained, showcasing vibrant blooms from April through October. The venue's natural beauty, enhanced by pre-strung lights, creates a mesmerizing, magical ambiance, particularly during twilight when the gardens are aglow. This setting offers diverse photographic opportunities, ranging from intimate couple portraits to expansive group shots.

Conveniently located in Oakley, Brownstone Gardens is easily accessible for guests traveling from anywhere in the bay. Its tranquil, natural surroundings make it feel like a secluded oasis, which also provides a wide array of photo opportunities. Each one has a distinct feel, which is so fun for us as photographers.

There are five spaces at this venue, and during your wedding day you have exclusive access to all of them.

The Rose Garden

The Rose Garden serves as an intimate retreat that can function as a cozy lounge or bar area. Encircled by lush greenery and featuring a firepit with wooden seating, this space offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. The natural elements create the perfect backdrop for candid, emotive photography.

Bridal Falls

As the venue’s most expansive and multifaceted space, Koi Gardens offers an abundance of photographic opportunities. The area boasts a spacious patio illuminated by twinkling string lights, mature trees, and vibrant flowerbeds. A charming gazebo, a koi pond with a cascading waterfall, and a wooden bridge add layers of depth and visual interest to any wedding album.

The Field

While not technically on the Brownstone Gardens property, this field is adjacent and available for gorgeous photos. We love to pose our couples in this area and provide them with visually unique photos in comparison to the greenery throughout the venue.

Bridal Suites

Brownstone Gardens also provides two gorgeous bridal suites so couples can get ready and relax in comfort and style. Candid getting-ready shots add so much heart to a wedding album and these suites offer the perfect setting.
