Nicole and Daniel tied the knot in a delightful celebration at Sunol's Casa Bella, and their love story is as charming as their wedding day. As their wedding photographer, we were honored to get a personal insight into their chance meeting, the picturesque proposal, and then their journey to the aisle!
A College Baseball Romance
Daniel and Nicole first crossed paths in 2013 when he was playing college baseball alongside Nicole's brother. The spark was instant, and after a bit of sleuthing (thanks, brother!), Nicole got Daniel's number.
Fast forward to 2021, and the couple planned a romantic Valentine's Day getaway to Lake Tahoe. Daniel, armed with a new camera and a heart full of love, led Nicole to Sand Harbor Beach under the guise of capturing sunset photos. Little did she know, he had something far more precious in mind. As they stood on the beach, taking in the view, Daniel dropped to one knee and asked Nicole to be his forever. To make the moment even more unforgettable, he had arranged for a photographer to capture every sweet second. It was a proposal straight out of a fairytale.

Their wedding day was a true reflection of their love and style. Sunol's Casa Bella offered the perfect blend of elegance and charm, with its intimate garden ceremony space and character-filled reception hall. The rustic mirrored walls, floor-to-ceiling drapes, cozy fireplace, outdoor patio, and beautiful wood floors set the stage for a celebration to remember.
Nicole and Daniel's vendor dream team helped bring their vision to life. The Flower House stole hearts with their stunning arrangements, while Janene's Bridal Alameda dressed Nicole in a Maggie Sottero Lettie gown fit for a queen. Bridesmaids dazzled in dresses from Revelry, and Bay Area Beautiful ensured Nicole was a vision of glamour with their hair and makeup artistry. Cake Expressions delighted taste buds with their delectable creations, and Krista Strader added a magical touch to the ceremony and cocktail hour with her enchanting harp-playing.
All Aboard!
One unforgettable moment from the day was when a train passed by during Nicole's vows, adding a touch of unexpected charm and creating a memory they'll treasure forever. Despite the initial surprise, they now consider it a good luck charm, a symbol of the unexpected joys that life—and marriage—can bring.
